Excellent app!

Easy to use and great connections illustrated to follow.

The ESV Bible is great.

I having been reading the ESV Bible for almost one year for my daily Bible readings. This translation is excellent. I am grateful that I have the Word of God and its truthfulness to teach me and direct my life. I thank God that Crossway brought together godly followers of Christ who believe that Scripture is The Word Of God. Blessings on your translation team, Richard Long

Intuitive, time saving, Bible study

The Olive Tree ESV with Strongs Bible study iPad app is an excellent tool for daily reading, lesson prep and note taking. The hyperlink keywords bring up original language words with Strongs definitions at the touch of the screen, and allow for instant whole Bible searches for each word, making discovery of the authors original intent extremely easy. The split screen option allows for note taking while the text is up eliminating the need to swipe over to another note taking app, and notes are easily synced to Evernote. Split screen also makes translation comparison effortless, reducing the tendency to misuse Strongs definitions by trying to attribute every possible meaning of a word to every occurrence. One addition that would move me more toward 5 stars would be if the store was organized so that resources already purchased but not downloaded to a particular device automatically showed up at the top of the list.

Great app

Love all the new updates and the improvement of the highlighting feature. Thank you for changing the way to find books, chapters and verses. It is so much easier to find what your looking for. Would like to see where you can undo highlighting.

I Really Really Like It A Whole Whole Bunch!!!!!!!

Best Bible Tool

Bible app

This app has amazing tools. It helps reading and understanding . What a great app!

Wonderful app

I do all my studies in olive tree bible. There are several tool and cross reference that are integrated in the bible

Unbiased opinion Awesome

My goals: 1: Get Greek and Hebrew translation. 2: access some commentaries. 3: Grow in Knowledge of God. Goal 3 no bible alone can give you so I am using this daily and with The Holy Spirit am getting there. Other than that This study bible has surpassed my goals. Goals 1&2 achieved. Plus the app is so quick with pop up windows that it optimized my precious devotion time no wasting time flipping pages. Very sturdy has never crashed yet. Adding PoP up windows for he commentaries like the concordances would be great. Only suggestion.

Thank for the new update!

Grateful for this brand new update! *better discount than others *better mobile platform or app *less selection *worse pc or mac software I am shifting some of my library budget to Olive Tree because of discount on commentaries (NICOT/NICNT)!

Awesome app, been using it for years

Powerful, easy to use, love it! And the new 6.0 update is awesome!

Bring back the bookshelf

I am a longtime user of Olivetree’s products, from way back in the Palm Pilot days. I will still use this app regularly. However, there are two complaints about their app. Fix these and I’ll go up to 5 stars. 1. Bring back the bookshelf. Keeping track of my extensive resources is now a pain. It used to be very convenient, as I had the books on the bookshelf sorted in just the order I wanted, so that I could quickly tap on the one I needed. But no more. And Olive Tree’s stated reason for getting rid of the bookshelf is frankly pretty lame. Olive Tree has stated that they made the conscious decision to no longer use a bookshelf because they are going away from skew-morphism, and they said they are going away from skew-morphism because they are following Apple who is leading the way at going away from skew-morphism, but if they had bothered to open up Apple’s iBooks app, they would have seen that lo and behold Apple is still today using a bookshelf in that app—why?—because a bookshelf works and it works very well at organizing books. Don’t claim you are copying Apple by eliminating the bookshelf when you are not copying Apple, because Apple still uses bookshelves for organizing books. 2. Many or most of my resources have tappable text, and that makes toggling the toolbar difficult at times. I have a preference set that if you do a single-finger double tap, that the tool bars will toggle on and off. This setting used to work, even when double-tapping tappable text, but it has not worked for a while. Make single-finger double tapping work again, even over tappable text.

Go-to app for Bible reading and study

By far my favorite Bible app. I use the reading plan feature to keep my daily Bible reading on track, easily picking up where I left off the day before. For study, I love the ease with which I can glide through related verses without ever having to close the original passage. I always have the double screen available so I can read the study notes (purchased separately). I also love the Strongs system in a digital format. So easy to look up the original word and meaning, or to search for a specific word by the Strongs number. Love, love, love it!

Very slow

App is very slow when you turn the pages.
